“ Our expectations of the LGW Fire Service Aircrew Instructor course were to provide our trainers with improved knowledge and confidence of the subject through a combination of theoretical and practical training. We were not disappointed.

 

The one day course was well structured and had a logical flow through extremely relevant subject areas and made effective use of case studies to re-enforce the learning points.
The training delivery was relaxed, friendly and professional which made the training even
more successful.

 

The practical training provided first hand experience of using different fire fighting media which clearly demonstrated how effective they can be. My only regret was that would we weren't able to see BCF in action as this is obviously not permitted!

 

The course exceeded our expectations and everybody left with increased confidence and understanding of the aircraft fires and the role played by the Airport Fire and Rescue Service. We are keen for our trainers to return to experience the next level of understanding fire behaviour.
